Residential Treatment for Executive Men and Women with Drug and Alcohol Addiction Disorders

At Turning Point Treatment Center we recognize that addiction disorders are treatable illnesses and that with specific care properly applied, abstinence and long-term success can be expected.

Our staff knows that people with addictions often don't want help. We also know that those who are somewhat unwillingly forced into treatment usually do very well. Motivating clients through the early stages of recovery is a primary responsibility of staff.

 Our multi-disciplinary treatment program includes:
  • Separate amenities for men and women.
  • Detoxification when required.
  • A comprehensive assessment process.
  • Individualized plans to ensure each client is matched to the right treatment. Treatment may include separate treatment streams for clients with co-occurring disorders in order to effectively treat both illnesses.
  • A length of stay that is determined by measured progress toward client and staff driven goals.
  • An approach to recovery that emphasizes balance. Good nutrition and exercise are an essential part of the total recovery.
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Twelve step facilitation therapy is supported by off campus self help meetings.

Continuing Care:

The final realization of long-term goals is a life long pursuit, and the primary treatment program is viewed as an early part of what will be a continued effort to progress and grow in every area of life. Client participation in our highly structured, intensive schedule of lectures, group therapy, individual therapy, counseling, physical fitness and therapeutic living produces real evidence of movement toward these goals in the “here and now.”

Once the initial goals of early recovery have been achieved, Turning Point 's staff will work with other professionals and community agencies and workplace health practitioners to ensure that all clients receive a well integrated, evidence based approach to recovery that will start the recovering person on a path toward a lifetime of success.

Relapse prevention and second stage recovery issues may require that a client return to Turning Point for a brief relapse prevention program that can be done in residence.

Co-occurring Disorders:

An increasing number of people who seek help for addictions also have co-existing psychiatric disorders. These illnesses become inter-related in a complex way. Both of these disorders will need to be treated if the individual is to experience a full, sustainable recovery. We offer individual sessions with our Psychiatrist for an additional fee.
